The Center for Nonlinear Dynamics in Economics and Finance (CeNDEF) is a multi-disciplinary research group, started in October 1998, by a Pionier-grant from the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO). Its focus is on nonlinear systems within economics and finance.

The Amsterdam Center for Law & Economics

The Amsterdam Center for Law & Economics (ACLE) is a joint initiative of the economics and law faculties of the University of Amsterdam. The objective of the ACLE is to promote high-quality research in the fields at the interface of law and economics. The ACLE presently associates around 20 scholars in law and economics, ranging from full professors to PhD students. In the recent decades, the field of Behavioural Economics has generated important insights of the drivers of human behaviour in economic decision making. The Amsterdam Center for Behavioral Change (ACBC) seeks to enhance our understanding of how these insights can be used to improve human behaviour and economic outcomes.
